FAQS

  • Can I speak with someone before making a decision?

    Absolutely, and we encourage it.

Whether you have a quick question or need more guidance, our team is here to help you understand your options. We’re here to make sure you have the information you need to make the right choice.

You’re always welcome to call or visit one of our three locations located in Vancouver, Burnaby and Surrey.

  • Do I need an assessment before purchasing equipment?

In many cases, you don’t need a formal assessment to get started.

For more complex equipment, such as wheelchairs or seating systems, an assessment can be very helpful to ensure the right fit and function. If you already have an occupational therapist, we’re happy to work with them.

If not, we can help you determine whether an assessment would be beneficial and guide you through the next steps.

  • Do you work with occupational therapists or healthcare professionals?

Yes, we regularly work with occupational therapists!

We collaborate closely to ensure that equipment recommendations align with clinical needs, functional goals, and funding requirements. This team-based approach helps ensure the best possible outcome.

  • What areas do you serve?

We serve communities across the Lower Mainland and beyond.

Our locations are in Vancouver, Burnaby, and Surrey, and we regularly support clients throughout the region, including the Sunshine Coast, Whistler, and Chilliwack.

If you’re unsure whether we can assist in your area, feel free to reach out.

  • What types of home health care equipment do you offer?

We offer a wide range of equipment to support mobility, safety, and independence at home.

This includes mobility devices, bathroom safety equipment, hospital beds, daily living aids, manual and power wheelchairs, liftchairs, and more. Our goal is to provide practical solutions that improve comfort and quality of life.

  • Do you carry wheelchairs, walkers, hospital beds, and scooters?

Yes, we carry all of these, along with a variety of models and configurations to suit different needs.

Whether you’re looking for something short-term or a long-term solution, we’ll help you find the right option based on comfort, function, and lifestyle.

  • How do I choose the right wheelchair or mobility device?

The right choice depends on a number of factors, including mobility level, daily use, environment, and long-term needs.

We’ll take the time to understand your situation and walk you through the options. For more complex needs, we may recommend involving an occupational therapist to ensure proper fit and positioning.

Our focus is always on finding a solution that is safe, comfortable, and practical for everyday use.

  • Do you offer customized or complex rehab equipment?

Yes, we offer specialized and complex rehab equipment!

Our team works closely with clinicians to assess individual needs and ensure that equipment is properly fitted and configured. This is especially important for clients who require more advanced support or long-term mobility solutions.

  • Can I try equipment before purchasing?

    In many cases, yes.

We understand that comfort and fit are important, especially for mobility equipment. Whenever possible, we’ll help you explore options in-store or guide you through what to expect.

For more specialized equipment, trials may be arranged in collaboration with a healthcare professional.

  • Do you offer equipment rentals?

Yes, we offer equipment rentals for both short-term and longer-term needs.

Rentals are often a good option for recovery, temporary mobility challenges, or situations where you’re not ready to purchase.
